"The Path of Life" This a talking point painting that started with a visit to Paradise Valley in New Zealand’s Southern Alps. The surrounding vastness and grandeur helped put life’s journey in perspective and encouraged me to reflect on human smallness and transience… Back in my studio I saw additional possibilities. The river (like death) has to be crossed, but it is not the end. There is a path that leads beyond. It becomes an invitation that rises above the here and now. It goes through the person of the Lord (see if you can find His hands) to the realms of Heaven and Eternity.
