Danny Hahlbohm(pronounced hal-bome) is a self taught artist who has been drawing since the age of 8. Born in Mineola, New York, June 1949, Hahlbohm grew up on the Eastern end of Long Island and enlisted in the Armed Forces in 1968. He was then sent overseas, and towards the end of his tour he received a miracle from God that changed his life forever. This miracle led him to accept the Lord Jesus Christ and become a Christian. After serving in the Armed Forces , he began painting for galleries and touring the United States.

Danny Hahlbohm has been painting christian inspired art for nearly 30 years. His artwork tends to touch and comfort people's heart and give them an inner peace. "It has become clear through the years that my artistic gifts were meant to be used by the Lord for the comfort and growth of those they touch."

Best known for his well known painting "Footprints in the Sand", painted along with the poem written by Mary Stevenson in 1939 and released in 1979, he received world recognition and over 80 different Hahlbohm art prints can be found in homes throughout the world.

Hahlbohm has learned two important life lessons along the way. The first is to have faith and to trust in God, even when the road seems uncertain. In addition, no matter how difficult the challenges or how great the obstacles facing us, he believes that God has already equipped each of us to do whatever is asked of us.

"I realize that the gift of talent I had been given is truly the Lord's hand upon my life,
I never struggled to achieve mastery of oils, and when I need the ability, God grants it. If He asks something of us, we have already been prepared to accomplish the task because all things come from Him. I am simply a tool of the Lord."

Glory to God!!
